Obrafour Lists His Top Three New Rappers

Obrafour has finally wrapped up the shoot for his new single Nkontompo.

“When we came to talk to Pascal Aka about the video he put a few things down but am surprised when I came in to shoot and what he made available for the shoot.” The Executioner told yfmghana.com in an exclusive interview. “The set he built was awesome, so far I will say this shoot has been overwhelming and he has really done well. But it boils down to the final cut and I’m hopeful it’s going to be great.

“This is our first shoot and I think he has really impressed me. DKB was at his usual best and Fireman Songo of all people was very interesting on this set. Everybody brought their A game to the shoot and the number of Anas’ who came here today is impressive. I’m hopeful that the execution will be on point.

Asked about upcoming rappers who were really impressing him currently, the Aboa Onni Dua rapper known for his understanding of rap mentioned Kofi Kinaata and others.

“So far, I will say Kofi Kinaata is number one on my list. T Phlow is number two and there is this young guy in the US called Currency; people should be looking out for him. These three has really caught my eye and I hope they build on what they are doing now. I hope they grow up in the game to be who we all want them to be. It’s my prayer that they will fuse discipline with this and keep the lyrical content of their music very high. They should also learn the business side of the music as they study the craft so they can become millionaires and help society.”
