Rising up the acting aisle is Efya Owusu who’s currently in Ghana enjoying the
holiday season.
She can be remembered this year from her not so pleasant underarm
incident which buzzed for a while. Her skin tone does not appear to
match evenly throughout her body parts as she was attacked for showing a
dark underarm in an
instagram
photo. She’s all over that and ready to kick some seats in the acting
circles. In current promotion is her debut in a McNonwuun directed piece
titled “A hopeful
Journey” which is best described as ” a love story depicting what happens when faith, the lust
for money,
happiness, affection and legal status coupled with the reality of
following one’s dream gets mixed up. They say God’s time is the best.
But when is God’s time? They said try to work at your relationship and
hope for the best. But we all have a breaking point that even wealth
cannot prevent. When you are in a world where you cannot tell the
difference between what is right or wrong, you will find yourself making
hard choices to survive…or at least you think so. “A Hopeful Journey,” challenges us on these issues in a story told in a compelling way.”
Efya has
depicted herself as a
daughter of Eve and free spirited. We present a few of her
