Shatta Rako describes Dancehall Scene in Ghana as “Animal Farm” in new Single

The original Shatta of fast growing dancehall and reggae music in Ghana, Shatta Rako has compared the current happenings in the music scene to that of the 1945 allegorical and dystopian novel by George Orwell “Animal Farm”. In a new single that calls out names of renowned industry personalities, Shatta Rako implores such individuals to be responsible and look out for the best of the genre than their selfish interests. The artist also casts a swipe at the genre’s only awards scheme BASS Awards and questions why the organizers look out for just a few. “Why should people divide and rule just because of awards?” – He quizzes. The new single drops on Tuesday December 9 2014. - See more at: http://nydjlive.com/51235/shatta-rako-describes-dancehall-scene-in-ghana-as-animal-farm-in-new-single/#sthash.D8qFg5X7.dpuf
