Ghanaian musician Okuraseni Samuel has lost his father Mr. Samuel Obeng Wiafe Snr. The late Obeng Wiafe Snr. who died on Saturday 22 November 2014 at Ridge Hospital in Accra was 63 years.
Confirming the sad story to Zionfelix.com on Sunday morning, the former contestant of the first edition of TV3’s reality show, Mentor said the deceased came to Ghana nine months ago to cure his sickness after staying in United States of America for 14 years .
“We were told yesterday morning that he is no more among the living” Okuraeni said
The departed before his death left behind 12 children. One week celebration of Okuraseni Samuel’s late father will be held on Sunday 20 November 2014 at Asante Akyim Agogo in the Ashanti Region.
Mr. Samuel Obeng Wiafe Snr. was part of Amakye Dede’s band and wrote songs for musicians like Ampadu and others.
