Ghanaians who found their way to the Akroma Plaza Hotel in Takoradi for the 1019 Laughs and Music left the event ground with the name Foster on their lips. Th event organised by Charterhouse brought together comedians and musicians who entertained patrons at the event with hilarious and brilliantly entertaining performances.
After performing at 1003 and 1004 edition of the event in a duet with David Oscar, Foster Romanus for the first time performed as a grown and established comedian at the event held on 25 December 2014. Foster Romanus after being called on stage by the host of the show, Amanda Jissih showed how he has grown from a young comedian to an established humorist. Audience at the venue of the show could not help but laugh throughout his performance.
Comedian Foster Romanus dished out an overdose of jokes which were not just hilarious but matured as well. Foster
who knew his audience and the season started by making fun of
Christmas. The auditorium was full of laughter when he continued by
talking about dancehall artistes Shatta Wale and Samini. His Ebola story
which followed proved that a joke on such level could be heard only
from him. He left the assembled spectators crying when he had to leave
stage after he made fun of tribes in Ghana.
Foster’s act on the night was well accepted by the crowd who attended
the show and showed appreciation by giving a standing ovation. Other
comedians on the night included A-Plus, Nigeria’s fastest comedian Akpororo, and Ododgu. Artistes who performed at the event were Kaakie and Edem.
